Golf driver tips can be found in a variety of of places, many book stores, libraries and also online. What is it about this club that players find difficult to master? It could be it’s size and / or it’s length. Whatever it is, it is a frightening club for many, if not most players.

Golf Driver Tips

The Beast

Constant good hitting/driving off the tee is the start of lowering your score. Players who research golf driver tips and apply them to their own game often see lower scores.

Driving well off the tee accurately can increase your distance, bringing your ball closer to the green. This could enable you to take advantage of the possibility of more eagles and birdies. A couple of these beauties on your card will lower your score dramatically.

The most important of golf driver tips, is to relax. A good golf swing is relaxed and this allows the clubhead to do its work. Don’t try to muscle your way through through a tee shot. In all probability this will open or close the club face and you will finish up looking for your ball in the woods or fishing it out of the water hazard.

If you played badly at the last hole, do not take your anger and frustration with you to the next hole. Instead, just calm down, catch your breath, and then run through your pre-shot routine nice and slowly.

Using these bigger clubs can be intimidating at first. Why? Because the heavier and larger head requires you to spend more time on the range, learning all the ins and outs of the club. It is far better to learn how to use these clubs on the range.

Your ball will need to be lifted much higher off the ground than with any other club when using these oversized clubs.

Also, remember, as with all clubs, but especially this beast, hold the shaft lightly. If it held too tightly it leads to a slice of most players.

Short post today but a few important tips to help keep your golf driver hitting the ball straight and a lot farther than before.

Till the next time.
